    This project is a modern gallery planned in Seoul, emphasizing a simple yet powerful architectural form. The overall shape is designed to appear as a single solid mass, with an open lower section that creates a sense of floating above the ground. The exterior is finished with textured white material, giving it a minimalist yet strong presence. One of the key features of this building is the application of a double-skin concept, where the contrast between the solid outer mass and the transparent glass interior creates spatial depth. The interior is enclosed with glass, providing openness and allowing seamless interaction with the city.


    The ground floor features a glass curtain wall, enhancing its public nature and naturally drawing visitors inside. The exhibition space offers a dramatic interplay of light and shadow, contrasting with the simplicity of the exterior form. The entrance is designed through the open lower space, creating a smooth and intuitive circulation flow. The contrast between the solid exterior mass and the lightweight transparency of the interior highlights materiality and spatial tension. This project serves as a strong example of contemporary gallery architecture, offering a profound spatial experience within a seemingly simple form.



    이 프로젝트는 서울에 계획된 현대적인 갤러리로, 단순하면서도 강렬한 조형성을 강조한 건축물이다. 전체적인 형태는 하나의 단일한 덩어리로 보이도록 설계되었으며, 하부를 개방하여 건물이 공중에 떠 있는 듯한 부유감을 연출한다. 외부 마감은 텍스처가 있는 백색 재료를 사용하여 미니멀하면서도 강한 존재감을 드러낸다. 이 건물의 가장 큰 특징은 이중외피 개념을 적용한 점으로, 외부의 단단한 매스와 내부의 투명한 유리가 대조를 이루며 공간적 깊이를 형성한다. 내부는 유리로 마감되어 있어 개방적이며, 도시와 소통할 수 있는 투명한 공간을 제공한다.


    지상층은 유리 커튼월을 통해 도심 속 공공성을 확보하고, 방문객이 자연스럽게 내부로 유입될 수 있도록 동선을 계획하였다. 내부의 전시 공간은 단순한 외형과 달리 빛과 그림자의 변화가 극적으로 경험될 수 있도록 설계되었다. 특히, 건물 하부의 개방된 공간을 통해 진입이 이루어지도록 하여 자연스럽고 유려한 동선이 형성된다. 외부에서 보이는 단단한 덩어리감과 내부의 가벼운 투명성은 물성과 재료적 대비를 강조하며, 공간적 긴장감을 조성한다. 이 프로젝트는 단순한 형태 속에서도 깊이 있는 공간 경험을 목표로 한다.
