위트래블X여행[건축학개론] 인문건축여행

이재건축연구소의 이재 대표는 위트래블과 함께 독창적인 인문학 건축 여행 프로그램인 여행「건축학개론」을 진행하였습니다.
이 프로그램은 건축의 아름다움과 그 이면에 숨겨진 문화적, 역사적 배경을 깊이 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.
여행의 일환으로 이재 대표는 일본의 유명 건축가들이 설계한 건축물들을 탐방하며, 그들의 디자인 철학과 건축적 기법을 상세히 설명하였습니다.
참가자들은 쿠마 켄고(Kengo Kuma)의 자연과 조화를 이루는 현대 건축물, 다니구치 요시오(Yoshio Taniguchi)의 미니멀리즘과 공간의 섬세한 변화를 담은 건축물, 안도 다다오(Tadao Ando)의 철학적 접근과 독특한 재료 사용이 돋보이는 작품들, 그리고 사나(SANAA)의 혁신적인 디자인과 창의적인 공간 활용에 대해 이해하기 쉽게 소개하였습니다.
이 프로그램에서는 단순한 건축 투어를 넘어서, 각 건축물의 설계 의도와 그가 표현하고자 했던 문화적 메시지, 역사적 배경까지 폭넓게 탐구하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
또한, 참가자들은 건축물뿐만 아니라 일본의 다양한 문화적 요소와 생활 방식을 직접 체험하며, 일본의 건축 미학을 더욱 생생하게 이해할 수 있는 기회를 가졌습니다.
여행「건축학개론」은 이처럼 건축과 인문학이 만나는 지점에서의 새로운 발견과 학습을 추구하는 프로그램으로, 14명의 참가자들에게 함께 하였습니다.

Lee Jae has teamed up with WeTravel for a unique humanities architecture travel program, Introduction to Architecture.
The program provides an opportunity to deeply understand the beauty of architecture and the cultural and historical background behind it.
As part of the trip, Lee Jae explored buildings designed by famous Japanese architects, explaining in detail their design philosophies and architectural techniques.
Participants were introduced to Kengo Kuma's modern architecture in harmony with nature, Yoshio Taniguchi's minimalism and subtle transformation of space, Tadao Ando's philosophical approach and unique use of materials, and SANAA's innovative design and creative use of space.
More than just an architectural tour, the program delved deeper into the design intentions of each building, the cultural messages he wanted to express, and the historical context.
In addition, participants had the opportunity to experience not only the architecture, but also the various cultural elements and ways of life in Japan, gaining a more vivid understanding of Japanese architectural aesthetics.
As a program that seeks new discoveries and learning at the intersection of architecture and the humanities, the “Introduction to Architecture” trip was very well received by the participants.
