In 2022, the Seoul Metropolitan Government formed an advisory committee for the design of public subway canopies, and Lee Jae participated in the first meeting. Experts from various fields gathered to share constructive opinions on the development of public design in Seoul. Each expert reviewed and discussed the design from a multifaceted perspective based on their own expertise. Numerous ideas and proposals regarding the subway canopy design were presented during the meeting. The unique and innovative ideas from experts in different fields greatly contributed to enhancing the design's quality. This meeting was an important first step toward the advancement of Seoul's public design, and I hope that various opinions will continue to be reflected in future meetings.
